Robert Rabil is a professor of Middle Eastern stuides at Florida Atlantic University. He is also the author of seven books.
He discusses the history of the Middle East. This includes the Golden Age of Islam and the rise and the fall of the Ottoman Empire. He also discusses the rise of the current states in the region and how they came to be. He discusses the rise of Islamic fundamentalism and the situation in Israel and Palestine since 1917.
